In response, Paarl Royals couldn’t chase the target and fell short. Rubin Hermann was their top scorer with 35 runs, while Andile Phehlukwayo managed 22. Bjorn Fortuin and Eshan Malinga picked up two wickets each, but it wasn’t enough to turn the game around.

MI Cape Town:
In their previous game (30th match) of the SA20 2025, MI Cape Town dominated the Pretoria Capitals with a massive 95-run victory. Batting first, MI Cape Town put up a solid 201/5. Sediqullah Atal led the charge with 74 runs, while Connor Esterhuizen contributed 69.

In response, Pretoria Capitals struggled to chase the target. James Neesham played a brief knock of 32, and Keagan Lion-Cachet added 17, but it wasn’t enough. Neesham also shined with the ball, taking three wickets. Thomas Kaber matched his effort with three wickets of his own, while Dane Piedt, who also claimed three wickets, was named Man of the Match.
