Kumar Kartikeya was the pick of their bowlers, finishing with figures of 1 for 25.

RCB made light work of the chase. Phil Salt set the tone with a fiery 65 off 33, while Virat Kohli anchored the innings with an unbeaten 62 off 45. Bengaluru cruised to the target in just 17.3 overs, losing only one wicket along the way. Salt’s explosive knock earned him the Player of the Match award. Krunal Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar chipped in with a wicket each as RCB sealed a dominant 9-wicket win.

Punjab Kings:
In their previous match (31st of the season) in the 2025 Indian Premier League, Punjab Kings secured a hard-fought 11-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders.

Batting first, Punjab Kings were bowled out for just 111 runs. Prabhsimran Singh provided a quick start with 30 off 15 balls, while Priyansh Arya chipped in with 22 off 12. Despite the low total, the Punjab bowlers rose to the occasion.

In response, Kolkata Knight Riders fell short, getting bowled out for 95. Angkrish Raghuvanshi top-scored with 37 off 28 balls, and Andre Russell added 17 from 11. However, they couldn’t build a substantial partnership to chase down the modest target.

For KKR, Harshit Rana picked up 3 wickets for 25 runs, and Sunil Narine was economical with 2 for 14. But it was Punjab’s bowling unit that stole the show—Yuzvendra Chahal led the charge with 4 wickets for 28 runs and was named Player of the Match, while Marco Jansen also impressed with 3 for 17.
