In their previous encounter during Qualifier 1 of IPL 2025, Royal Challengers Bengaluru outplayed Punjab Kings with a dominant 8-wicket win. Batting first, PBKS were bowled out for just 101 runs. Marcus Stoinis top-scored with 26 off 17 balls, while Prabhsimran Singh chipped in with 18 from 10. Kyle Jamieson and Musheer Khan picked up a wicket each for RCB.

The chase was a walk in the park for Bengaluru. Phil Salt led the charge with a blistering 56* off 27 deliveries, supported by Mayank Agarwal’s quick 19 off 13. RCB reached the target in just 10 overs, finishing with 8 wickets in hand.

Suyash Sharma was named Player of the Match for his excellent spell of 3/17, while Josh Hazlewood also impressed with 3/21.

Punjab Kings:
In their previous clash during Qualifier 2 of IPL 2025, Punjab Kings outclassed Mumbai Indians with a convincing 5-wicket victory. Batting first, MI posted a strong total of 203/6. Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma both scored 44, with solid contributions in the middle overs. Ashwani Kumar picked up 2 wickets for Punjab, albeit at the cost of 55 runs.

Punjab’s chase, however, was clinical. Skipper Shreyas Iyer led from the front with a stunning unbeaten 87 off 41 balls, while Nehal Wadhera supported him with a handy 48 off 29. Punjab Kings chased down the target in the 19th over, finishing at 207/5.

Shreyas Iyer was named Player of the Match for his match-winning knock. Azmatullah Omarzai also made an impact with the ball, picking up 2 wickets for 43 runs.
