Naseem Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, Shadab Khan, and Shahnawaz Dahani kept the strong batting order of India under pressure. Mohammad Nawaz was the highest wicket-taker from their side who picked three wickets in 3.4 overs and bowled out against 33 runs. Naseem Shah was the other bowler who was just good with the ball. He picked two wickets in four overs. He was facing a knee injury during his bowling spells but he completed his four overs. Remember that he was playing this first T20 International of his career.

Hong Kong was good in their opening match against India till the 10th over but after that, they leaked a lot of runs. They were charged for 192 runs in their 20 overs inning. Mohammad Ghazanfar was the most successful bowler who picked one wicket in two overs and bowled out against 19 runs. Ayush Shukla also picked one wicket but he leaked plenty of runs. He was charged for 53 runs in three overs. Haroon Arshad, Haroon Arshad, Aizaz Khan, and Yasim Murtaza were the bowlers who could not manage to pick any wicket.

The performance of the batting order of Hong Kong was good but they could not chase the target of 193 runs and scored 152 runs in 20 overs. Babar Hayat was the most successful batter from their side who scored 41 runs on 35 balls with the help of three boundaries and two huge sixes. Kinchit Shah also performed well with the bat and scored 31 runs. Zeeshan Ali remained not out after scoring 26 runs while Scott McKechnie had 16 runs to his name.
